Talent Hunt Programme 'Choona Hai Aasmaan' organized

Jammu, July 22: Police on Monday organized singing contest with regard to Distt Level Talent Hunt Programme titled 'Chhuna Hai Aasmaan' under civic action programme at auditorium hall SKPA Udhampur under the supervision of Sh. Sujit Kumar, IPS, Dy.Inspector General of Police today
Participants from different areas/schools of district Udhampur/Reasi were participated in 03 categories ("A" category from 05to 12yrs, "B" category from 13 to 18 yrs and "C" from 19 to 25 years).
Dr.S.D.Singh, Director SKPA Udhampur was the Chief guest and Dr.Piyush Singla, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur was the guest of Honour.
"The winners of all the 03 categories of district Udhampur & Reasi are called at the Range Level to compete for the title "Choona Hai Aasman". Those selected in the Ranges then compete at the Zone level for the best three slots in junior and senior categories and then progress to the finals,"
Out of 21 participants, who were after rounds of auditions, at Range Level 09 were selected by the jury, 03 each in 03 categories. 1st prize Age group of 5-12 years was bagged by Miss. Aaradhya Sharma while 2nd prize was clinched by Miss. Tanvi and 3rd prize bagged by Mr.Akshay Kumar
In the age from 13 to 18 yrs category 1st prize went to Mr. Raghujeet Singh, 2nd Prize was bagged by Mr Sahil Mehra while 3rd prize was bagged by Miss Aarahi Kalas. In third category (age from 19 to 25 yrs) 1st prize bagged by Miss. Vaishali Prajapati.
2nd position went to Rohit Kumar, while third prize was bagged by Mr.Jail Singh. All the 09 participants selected by the jury were given Cash prizes alongwith the certificate of merit.
