Jammu, July 26: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders have castigated the National Conference for its biased attitude towards Chenab valley.
According to press release, Ram Singh Chauhan, Kuldeep Kumar Rao and Mehraj Malik stated that NC which ruled the state for about 40 years is squarely responsible for all evils, neglect, under development, corruption, nepotism & discrimination.
"NC is primarily answerable not exploiting huge potential of Hydro-electric projects, huge mineral wealth like world famous sapphire, gypsum, ruthless cutting & wasting forest wealth, huge scenic spots in the entire Chenab Valley ignored particularly after " NOORI" film success", they said, adding that NC always remained against decentralization of powers as a result far off hilly & remote area remained neglected & under development.
It is NC that strangulated the democracy when Sheikh Mohd Abdullah became Chief Minister without having a single NC legislator in the Assembly during Sheik Abdullah-Indira Gandhi Accord in 1975. |
