| | |  To rekindle the pride and valour of the soldiers who took part in operation "Vijay", Delhi Public School Udhampur celebrated 20th Kargil Vijay Diwas by conducting a special assembly in the school premises. The day begin with prodigious speech by tiny tots explaining the sacrifices, heroic deeds of our soldiers, students of senior wing also delivered a heart full speech giving detail information of valorous act of our warriors. A musical performance by students and teachers was enough to evoke the feelings of nationalism and patriotism amongst spectators to add the pinch of fidelity, Rattan, head of administration block of the school shared his experience of this significant event as he had witnessed this august episode, he was part of the Kargil war. His narration was so astounding that the whole gathering felt as if they all are on the battlefield. |
