| | |  Students of Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana went to Balidan Stambh to pay homage to the valiant soldiers who laid down their lives while fighting the Pak intruders. The 22 Jat Reg. of Indian Army put on an impressive show during the wreath laying ceremony to rekindle the pride and valour of the soldiers who took part in operation Vijay. On the campus of Rich Harvest School, a replica of mountain peaks was created where the treacherous war was fought. Captain Vikram Batra, the hero of the war was remembered through an emotional skit. Children commemorated the victory by singing a patriotic song composed by the music teacher Padam. The Principal Anita Bhatia lit candles to honour the martyrs of the Kargil war. She asked children to imbibe the patriotic spirit and to never forget the supreme sacrifice of the brave soldiers for making Indian Territory a safe one. |
