| | |  The NCC units (Infantry and Naval Wing) of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu organized Kargil Vijay divas on 26th of July, 2019 in the College.
The valedictory of the ongoing weeklong celebrations of Vijay Diwas by NCC throughout the region culminated in Govt. SPMR College of Commerce.
The Chief Guest of the function, Colonel Sukhvir Singh Asla,Commanding Officer 2nd J&K Boys battalion NCC Jammu was welcomed by presenting the guard of Honour by the NCC cadets.
Subedar Major, Deepak Singh as the resource person shared his first hand experiences of Kargil war with the cadets, he said that it was a different kind of a war because it was fought at the altitude of 18000 to 19000 feet above the sea level and geographical conditions of the area were very-rough. |
