Jammu, July 26: The district level inter school tournament in the discipline of Basketball, Rifle Shooting, Carrom , Chess and Yoga under the age group of 19 years in both Boys & Girls Section was conducted at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Borad Sports complex Katra.
In the competitions large number of players drawn from different Higher Secondary Schools of District Reasi compete with great zeal & zest.
On this occasion, Arvind Karwani, Dy CEO, SMVDSB Katra was the chief guest and interacted with the players.
While interacting with the players, Karwani said that a sport is a physical activity that tests our athletic abilities. It is a kind of physical exercise in which we compete with opponent/s solely for the purpose of entertainment.
Earlier, Jeet Singh, District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Reasi welcomed the chief guest and all the participants. |
