| Group discussion on Carbon emission held | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 26: MV International School organized inter-house group discussion on the topic "Carbon Emission" as part of the ISA curriculum defined by "The British Council" for the students of classes 9th & 11th.
The students were briefly educated about carbon emission throughout the week through various video sessions and classroom discussions under the supervision of science teachers.
The Maestros House bagged first position with participants Kashish Mahajan (11thA), Parishek Mahajan (9th C), Adhishwar (9thB) and Tanvi Jamwal (9th C). Second position was won by Victors House with participants, Priyanka Sharma (11thB), Akash Thapa (11th B), Vanshmeet Kour (9th C) and Dheeraj Thapa (9th B). The Invincibles House stood third with Hardika Chadgal (9th C)), Bhumika (9thC), Gurpinder Singh (9thC) and Laksh (9th C) as its participants. Kashish Mahajan was awarded as "Best Speaker" (11th A) and Akash Thapa (11th B) was the "Best Initiator" of the competition.
The event concluded with an open-air session where the teachers clarified various doubts and further educated the students about benefits of green energy for future sustenance of life. |
