Urban Forestry Div Jammu distributes plants at Mahamaya temple | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 4: In continuation with the "Greening Jammu" drive, Urban Forestry Division Jammu in collaboration with Rotary Club Jammu held plant distribution programme at Mahamaya Temple Jammu in which 500 plants of various species were distributed among the devotees who visit Mahamaya Temple. Dr Ram from Rotary Club along with members himself distributed the plants to devotees. Rakesh Verma Range Officer along with staff of Sunjwan Range provided plants and briefed the devotees about the ongoing Greening Jammu drive of Urban Forestry Division. Another plantation drive was held at Kameshwar Mandir Trikuta Nagar in collaboration with Child Protection Services Jammu in which 200 plants were planted by Shalini Sharma , Dr Anupa Sharma Protection Officer Jammu and Ashok Kumar Councilor Trikuta Nagar. 50 Children from child care institutions like Balgram Channi Rama, Mentally Challenged Home Channi Rama, SOS village Gole Gujral, Louise Braille Home for Blind Girls, Sharan Charitable Trust, Bethel Charitable Trust, Vision and Child Development Charitable Trust of Jammu district were present in the plantation drive. |
