Jammu, Aug 9: Criticising former Chief Minister and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad for tying to fume unrest in freshly carved out Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir by issuing irresponsible statements like 'with money anyone can be taken along in Kashmir', BJP general secretary Yudhvir Sethi today said that Congress being a spent force is frustrated and unable to find way out to get connected to masses with whom it has lost contact now. Having tried and tested Congress, people now have realised that it befooled people and didn't let the nation progress. Now that BJP has fulfilled it's promises like that of Triple Talaq Bill and abrogation of Article 370 Congress is frustrated. Yudhvir Sethi said that Congress itself is a divided house and unable to decide whether to appreciate this decision on Article 370 or criticise it. Yudhvir Sethi said that need of hour is to win confidence of people, make them understand the benefits of UT and also make them understand how nation stands for socio-economic development of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that with UT all central laws stand extended to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh besides all Commissions meant for welfare of different sections of society will start functioning here. He said that what Congress couldn't do in decades BJP led coalition government did it in just five years. The BJP leader said that NDA led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has established that statements of Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba that no-one can a abrogate Article 370 hold no ground. Modi doesn't need years to take any decision in the larger interest of nation. |
