| DDC reviews progress on languishing projects | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Aug 9: District Development Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria, today reviewed progress on languishing projects of PHE, PWD, PDD and Education being executed in the district.
The DDC had a detailed review of pace of progress on these projects and asked the departments to further expedite the execution of these works and complete them within the fixed timeline.
DDC also directed PDD, PHE and Ground Water Drilling Division to work in coordination for early completion of all the ongoing projects.
Executive Engineer PWD was instructed to identify areas where people face hardships in crossing khads and nallahs during rainy season so that footbridges are constructed there.
Executive Engineer PDD was asked to ensure timely redressal of problems relating to power failure besides keeping sufficient stock of transformers available for emergent situation. |
