No takers of Azad's irresponsive diktats in J&K: Raman Suri | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 20: Condemning former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for terming abrogation of Article 370 as "wrong decision", BJP State Executive Member Raman Suri today said that Congress is frustrated as it has lost opportunity to listen to popular voices and is now trying to woo a section of society to stay relevant. His statement that 'nobody in the state is happy' is absolutely wrong and not based on facts. Raman Suri said that people of Ladakh are celebrating abrogation of Article 370 and creation of Union Territory (UT) since past two weeks and similarly people in Jammu are now looking for investments from various business houses in months to come. People of Kashmir too are happy but since precautionary restrictions are there they will be speaking their hearts in days to come. Raman Suri said abrogation of Article 370 and 35A has given women of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh opportunity to marry outside the state without losing their proprietary rights. Why wouldn't any women feel happy for herself or her daughters! What Ghulam Nabi Azad couldn't do during his tenure, NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi did in just a few weeks. This, he said is irking Congress and making it realise how miserably it has failed. |
