JKP organizes National Art Workshop | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 20: Jammu and Kashmir Police in collaboration with Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Trust and North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organized National Art Workship at Patnitop. During this National Art Workshop an art interaction / demonstration for school children was a significant feather of the workshop which was organized from August 5 to August 10 at Patnitop, Kud. Various artists from different parts of the country along with students of different schools of Kud participated in the said workshop. Small gifts as a token of love were distributed among children. About a dozen artists from different parts of India worked with the children and made wall paintings. As we know that art is a beautiful language to guide a person it has been endeavour of the J&K Police to work with different organizations to channelize the energies of the young people. By doing so the J&K Police is trying to help the talented students to harness their innate abilities. J&K Police under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) is organizing many programmes in collaboration with different NGOs, schools and departments. Presently a talent hunt programme "Choona Hai Aasman" is being organized at district and range levels across the State. |
