Jammu, Aug 20: Jammu Sanskriti School today commemorated the investiture ceremony with joy.
The entire event happened in the presence of eminent dignitories Kanwaljeet Kour, Sunakshi Anand, Harleen Anand, Rohini Aima and all the Co-ordinators who have shown splendid leadership skills in the respective areas. The whole programme was co-ordinated by C.C.A Co-ordinator Trishna along with Sports department & House masters from various houses.
The event commenced with the welcome address by students who presented saplings to the dignitaries as a tradition of green drive and token of gratitude. Balloons were released with a hope of performing the duties with vigilance and exuberance. Ensuing these multifarious cultural performances like welcome song and welcome dance left the audience spellbound.
Master Himanshu Bhardwaj was elected as the head boy and Aastha Kohli as Head Girl of the school for the session & the Council of students comprises Gurdeep singh (Sports Captain Boy), Khushboo Salaria (sports Captain Girl), Nirvaan Mohit (Cultural Capt.Boy), Gursheen (Cultural Capt.Girl), Yuvraj Singh (Vice-head Boy), Manpreet (Vice-Head Girl), Nishant (Vice-Sports Captain Boy) & Shreya (Vice-Sports Captain Girl). Putting an end to this even vote of thanks was conveyed by Ms Avneet Kaur Budharaja , Senior Wing Coordinator who propagated gratification to all for their benign presence.
The closing ceremony of this entire event was marked by the enlightening words of Rohini Aima , Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school who asserted that the primary pre requisite of being a leader is to be humble and look for greatness in others.
She also added that above all else, effective leadership requires compassion which is the only dependable leadership ingredient that flows from real wisdom. |
