| NGO demands banning of polythene carry bags | | |

Udhampur, Aug 25: NGO "Jiyo Aur Jeene Do" today demanded total ban on the polythene carry bags as proposed by Prime Minister during his Man Ki Baat programme.
NGO president Tariq Shah also thanked Udhampur administration for banning Chinese plastic threat for kite flying.
"This year we would be celebrating 150th birth anniversary and abandoning the plastic would be the best way to pay tribute to Gandhiji. We request the district administration to completely abondon the sale and use of plastic to make our environment clean", the president said.
