Jammu, Aug 25: Editor Early Times Munish Gupta who has decided to contest the forth coming assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar Constituency, on Sunday said that he would continue reaching out to the people despite prevailing political uncertainty. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in Bandu Rakh Munish said, "There is every possibility about the polls getting delayed in J&K due to many reasons, but I will not stop my public outreach programme, as it is helping people to highlight their problems and grievances."
He said, "The forthcoming assembly elections are a golden opportunity for people to vote for the candidate who can lay the foundation of new Jammu and help in mitigating their sufferings."
Munish said, "I have made a beginning by taking a plunge into the politics, I hope my people will also make a new start by voting for me and by giving me chance to represent them in the legislature."
He said, "Country is progressing at a very fast pace and people of Jammu cannot lag behind, they have to change their mind set and vote for the new faces, who can help them achieving their goals." Munish said, "If I win the elections, I assure my people that I would not let them down and will try my best to make their lives easy." |
