Santosh gets discouraging feedback about 'corrupt' J&K BJP leaders | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 19: BJP's new general secretary (organization) B L Santosh has reported received discourage response about functioning of party in J&K as some neutral persons have given him independent feedback. Credible sources said that before meeting with party leaders at Jammu on Wednesday, Santosh interacted with some neutral persons to seek their feedback about functioning of the party in J&K. "Most of the neutral persons have given genuine feedback to Santosh and briefed him about corruption and nepotism in the party", sources said while disclosing that some neutral persons have also brought into the notice of Santosh height of corruption during the tenure of previous PDP-BJP government in which BJP ministers had shamelessly crossed all limits of corruption. Sources said that Santosh was also briefed that party in J&K has been hijacked by a group of indivuals who have taken control of all affairs of the party including finance and organizational matters. B L Santosh was appointed as general secretary (organisation) on July 14 this year, a day after all powerful Ramlal was moved back to the RSS after holding the post for over 13 years. Santosh, an RSS pracharak working in the BJP since 2006, is considered an ideologue who is equally well-versed with the dynamics of electoral politics. In 2014, the BJP gave him a national position, making him one of the associates of Ramlal as a joint general secretary (organisation). He was given the charge of southern states. The post of general secretary (organisation) is always kept by a leader with the RSS background as it allows the Hindutva organisation to have an important say in its affairs while allowing him to serve as a bridge between the BJP and its ideological parent. |
