Revenue officials sensitized about benefits of creation of UT

Kishtwar, Sept 25: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana convened a meeting here and reviewed the functioning of Revenue department.
ADDC Kishtwar Mohd. Hanief Malik, ADC Kishtwar Pawan Parihar, ACR Kishtwar Dr. Amir Hussain, SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Parihar, SDM Paddar Varun Jeet Charak, SDM Marwah Dr. Javeed Iqbal Rather besides All Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, representatives from Ramtech Private Ltd. remained present in the meeting.
Discussion was held pertaining to the matters like progress /writing of Jamabandis, attestation of mutations, progress on eviction of encroachments from State/Kahcharai/Common land/forest lands, maintenance of Record & Page marking of Revenue Record for digitlization /scanning /Page marking etc.
DC, fixed a deadline for all concerned officers regarding writing of Jamabandis besides ACR Kishtwar was directed to prepare formula for speeding up the balance work of Jamabandis with active involvement of Tehsildar's, Naib Tehsildar's, Girdawar's and Patwaries.
Further, directions were passed to concerned officers to identify state land for development purpose. He further directed to attest the inheritance and other mutations within the stipulated time and also clear the mutations pertaining to other departments where final award stands issued by the concerned Collector, land acquisition.
While reviewing the progress over the removal of encroachments on State/Kahcharie/common land/forest land, DC exhorted upon the concerned officers to keep strict vigil to prevent encroachment on highways and other roads in and around the town. He further sensitized the district officers about the benefits of abrogation of
