| 20 kg bhukki, 200 gms charas, 60 gms heroin recovered, smugglers arrested | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Sept 25: In order to check the smuggling of drugs, Police arrested two smugglers and recovered 20 kg bhukki, 200 gms charas and 60 gms heroin from their possession.
According to Police Sources, carrying forward the war against the drugs laid nakas at different places enroute NHW-44 and recovered20 kg of poppy Straw (Bhukki), 200 gms Charas and 60 grams heroine has been recovered from the drugs smugglers at T-Chowk Banihal, Dolegam Banihal and Ramsoo respectively.
On questioning the suspected persons disclosed their identities Sat Paul Singh resident of Ludhiana Punjab, Rayees Ahmed Hajjam resident of TantrayporaBanihal, Rajesh Singh resident of Chenani , Som Raj resident of Katra and Mohammad Nazir resident of TalwaraReasi and have been taken into custody.
In this connection case FIR No. 124/2019 under section 8/15 NDPS Act, FIR No.125/2019 under section 8/20/NDPS Act and FIR No.92/2019 under section 8/21/29 NDPS Act stand registered at Police Station Banihal and Ramsoo respectively and investigation taken up. |
