| Poster making competition held at SPMR college | | |

Jammu, Sept 25: Department of environmental sciences in collaboration with NSS/NCC unit of Govt SPMR College of Commerce Jammu organised a poster making competition on the topic " plastic waste management".
The competition was organized to spread awareness about the ill effects of the use of plastic and related products. The programme is organised under the plastic free campaign (swachhata hi seva 2019). Prof (Dr) Anil Gupta , principal of the college was also present and address the students and urged them to reduce the use of plastic.
A total of 20 students have participated in the competition. First prize was shared by Tamana (Integrated M.com Sem- 1), second and third prize was bagged Aarushi (Integrated M.com Sem- 1) and Sinakshi (Integrated M.com Sem- 1). The competition was adjudged by Prof Archana Koul( English), Prof Savita Jamwal (Economics)and Prof Afpan Ali (Urdu). The entire programme was coordinated by Prof Anjana chib and Prof shahima akhter (Department of EVS). |
