Deal with terror, Pakistan in your own way: Trump tells PM Modi
9/25/2019 10:12:16 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 25: President of United States Donald Trump has given a free hand to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deal with terror emanating from Pakistan.
Soon after the meeting between the two leaders ended in New York, Indian Foreign Secretary briefed the media about the discussions which took place between the US President and PM Modi. "The main focus of the meeting was the terror emanating from Pakistan. Prime Minister Modi told the US President that Pakistan has not responded to overtures of India. And whenever India has extended a hand of friendship towards Pakistan it has responded by bleeding us," the Foreign Secretary said.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "India has managed to get what it wanted. The Prime Minister Modi has driven home a point that terror is the main concern and its a big threat to the entire world."
It is in place to mention here that when President Trump and PM Modi addressed a joint press conference in New York while responding to a query on terrorism emanating from Pakistan, the US President said, "Prime Minister Modi has given a loud and clear message to terrorists and Pakistan that terror won't be tolerated and my message is the same."
On being told that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan admitted that Pak Army trained Al-Qaeda and there are 40,000 to 50,000 terrorists still present in Pakistan, Trump said, "I am sure Prime Minister Modi will take care of it."
An observer said, "President Trump's green signal to India to handle terror in its own way is not good news for Pakistan as the neighbouring country has been left with nowhere to go. Entire world has closed its doors on Pakistan Prime Ministet and has advised him to first take care of his own country which is at the verge of becoming bankruptcy."
He said, "Pakistan is all set to face the music. Entire world, including the United States, is supporting the war against terror being led by India. If Pakistan indulges in any misadventure it will have to pay a heavy price. India's policy is clear that any terror attack will be avenged as the security forces are ready to cross the Line of Control and carry out Balakote like air strike."
Another analyst said, "Time is running out for Pakistan. It needs to moderate its rhetoric over Kashmir and stop threatening India. If it refuses to change its policy then no one can save it from the Indian Armed Forces which are prepared to launch the final assault against Pakistan Army which has been fighting a proxy war in Jammu & Kashmir for the past 30 years by sponsoring terrorists."
