| DPS Leh celebrates Swachh Bharat Abhiyan | | | Early Times Report
LEH, Oct 17: 'Cleanliness is next to godliness'. To inspired by the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the school organized a cleanliness drive, where the students were encouraged and motivated to keep their surroundings clean. They cleaned their classrooms, corridors and the school premises with a sense of achievement and pride. This activity not only developed a sense of responsibility towards their environment but also enhanced the values of self-discipline, independence and self-reliance. The school Principal Ms. Hardev Kaur Sidhu appreciated their efforts and encouraged the students to make cleanliness as a way of life.
Tomar and Gagandeep Singh from ITBP came with their team of eight members. They conducted Poster Making and Slogan Writing competition to facilitate Prime Minister's "SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN" drive at Delhi Public School, Leh.
Pro-Vice Chairperson T.P. Singh also conveyed his best wishes to the students and staff. He appreciated the D.P.S family for this drive. |
