Seem hell bent upon breaking back of people by targeting innocents
Terrorists on killing spree in Kashmir
10/17/2019 10:33:53 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 17: Just within two days terrorists have killed three non-locals in South Kashmir's Shopian and Pulwama districts. These attacks have come at a time when the harvest season is at its peak and apple traders are trying to sell their cash crops.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "These killings have been carried out at the behest of Pakistan as the Prime Minister of the neighbouring country Imran Khan during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly had threatened of a bloodbath in Kashmir."
He said, "By attacking non-locals, terrorists are trying to send a message to the outsiders that they are soft targets and they should move out from the Valley. The non-local work force which had returned to the Valley during the past fortnight may have to reconsider its decision to stay back in Kashmir."
An observer said, "The terrorists sponsored by Pakistan are trying to drive home a point that they won't allow shops and educational institutions to reopen and public transport to hit the roads. Besides targeting the local businesses, terrorists seem to be hell bent upon breaking the back of the orchard owners by targeting the people associated with the apple trade."
He said, "The message seems to be clear that terrorists are out to finish the Kashmir economy by bringing every activity to a grinding halt. The real face of Pak sponsored terrorism is clearly visible. They (terrorists) are out to carry forward the nefarious agenda of Pakistan Army and ISI in Kashmir and turn it into a battleground. Civilians who are defying the diktats of terrorists are getting killed and beaten up and the so called champions of human rights are not even uttering a word."
Another analyst said, "Situation in Kashmir has taken an ugly turn as the terror groups sponsored by Pakistan want to take the people hostage by creating fear. They are out to spill the blood and are least bothered about the sufferings and miseries of common Kashmiris. People have understood their machinations but they are unable to react due to the fear of being shot dead."
He said, "The government will have to find a solution to tackle the emerging crisis as terrorists targeting non-locals and civilians is an indication that Pakistan sponsored terrorists won't allow normalcy to return. They want to turn Kashmir into a graveyard by enforcing their writ. The only way out to end this proxy war could be to fight a conventional war with Pakistan to end the conflict in Kashmir once for all."
