| Friday prayers not allowed in Jamia Masjid for 11th week | | |
Srinagar, Oct 18 Friday prayers were not allowed for the eleventh successive week in historic Jamia Masjid in downtown Srinagar and some other major mosques in Kashmir valley, where life remained crippled since August 5 due to strike against scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35 A.
All roads around Hazrat Gousal-Azam shrine were closed with barbed wires and by parking bullet proof vehicles. Security forces were directing people to take alternate routes to reach to their destinations though prayers were offered in the shine.
