Vijaypur, Oct 20: Farmers of several villages have demanded fair compensation for the loss of paddy crop, destroyed by storm.
The farmer expressed concern about the damage cause by storm in over 150 Kanals of the paddy crop, which was only source of their livelihood. Farmer Baldev Raj, Tarsem Chand, Mulkh Raj, Ram Lal, Des Raj, Sansar Chand, etc., of Channi Manhasa village of Vijaypur, have lost their paddy crop in 150 kanals of land. The peasants demanded fair compensation from the government.' |
