Arbayeen E Hussaini observed in Kargil

LEH, Oct 20: People of Kargil today participated in Arbayeen March in Karbala Iraq. They were joined by people from adjoining villages in the form of mourning processions, reached Kargil town beating their chest, backs and chanting hymns to commemorate Chelum-e-Hussaini. The processions under the banner of Anjuman Jamiyat Ul Ulema Isna Ashariya Kargil (AJUIAK) Ladakh passing through Fatima Chowk, Islamia School Chowk, Changrah Bazzar, Hozia Premises, Khomenie Chowk, Lal Chowk Concluded at Inqilab Manzil (Qatilgah-e- Hussaini).
More than 30 mourning processions participated in the Chelum and paid rich tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain A.S. and his 72 companions.
The processions concluded with Ziyarat E Arbayeen and final sermon by General secretary AJUIAK Ladakh Sheikh Ibrahim Khalili during which he threw light on the importance of Arbayeen -e- Hussain in present context. Referring to the current situation of the world, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalili told that in this period the teachings of Karbala and the Philosophy of Karbala should be followed for a peaceful and harmonious society. Later Joint Secretary AJUIAK Ladakh, Sheikh Mohammad Hussain thanked the Deputy Commissioner Kargil for adequate arrangement for the smooth conduct of the Chelum procession, SSP Kargil for Security Arrangements, Health Department for Camps and deputation of Adequate no of employees, MC Kargil for Cleanliness of the Procession Path, Various Taxi Unions and owners of Sabeels for their volunteer service.
