| GGM Sc College Road Safety club organises awareness prog | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 23: Road Safety Club, GGM Science College, Jammu organized an awareness programme in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police. Joginder Singh, SSP Traffic, Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He was accompanied by Jeevan Sharma, DSP Traffic, Jammu. The guests were formally welcomed by Dr. Kaushal Smotra, Principal of the College.
The speaker on the occasion Khushwant Singh, Inspector, Traffic Police, delivered a highly informative lecture on Road Safety. He emphasized that the main focus of the Traffic Police Department is to ensure hassle-free vehicular movement and well regulated traffic. He apprised the students about traffic signs and rules and also introduced them to the latest amendments in the MV Act. Joginder Singh, addressed the students and encouraged them to be responsible citizens by following traffic rules and regulations. He congratulated the Principal and the Convenor of the club for being Pioneers in the constitution of Road Safety Club as it will go a long way in spreading awareness among the youth. The formal Vote of Thanks was presented by Dr Chanchal Angral Convener Road Safety Club. |
