| BJP ditched Jammu people on name of Art 370: PYC | | | Early Time sReport
JAMMU, Oct 25: Pradesh Youth Congress, J&K, lambasted the BJP for its failure to bring any investment after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A from the Jammu and Kashmir. Briefing media persons here, State PYC Chief, Uday Chib asked BJP leadership why it has befooled the people of J&K on the name of Articles 370 and 35A. He said before removing the articles 370 and 35A, State BJP leaders has much hyped this sensitive issue and had assured the people of J&K that the removal of these articles will bring investment, employment avenues and ample opportunities for the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. He said despite of fulfilling their promises BJP has ditched the people of J&K by bringing Sarore Toll Plaza, one-time road tax upto 9 per cent and privatization of Power Development Department which will hike massive power bills in J&K.
Chib also welcomed the initiatives taken by the BJP for the welfare of people of Kashmir Valley. He said PYC has welcomed the initiative of BJP for grant Rs 500 for Srinagar Municipal Corporation and bringing an investment of Rs 2000 crore for the Kashmir Valley. He said similarly on the other hand BJP is discriminating with the people of Jammu region by giving them a lollipop of fake promises. He mentioned that in the last one year since the ULB elections has conducted in the J&K, only Rs 45 crore has been granted for Jammu. |
