Indian troops are on high alert on LoC in Kashmir
11/3/2019 8:09:58 PM
In view of the ceasefire violations by the Pakistan troops on the LoC troops deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir have been put on high alert to foil any "misadventure" from across the LoC. Troops across the LoC are ready to avenge retaliation from the Indian troops and that is the reason for deploying additional troops and who have been told to be on the alert. The Army was maintaining high vigil along the LoC in all sectors of Jammu and Kashmir to prevent militants from infiltrating to this side even as intelligence reports suggest three groups of militants were waiting at launch pads to sneak in. The troops are on alert to foil any misadventure and respond to any act from across the LoC,". The troops along the LoC were on a high alert following the recent skirmishes between the Army and militants in different sectors of Kashmir region. Reports said that Army was using the Bofors howitzers to prevent militants from sneaking into the Valley while round-the-clock guard and patrolling was being conducted along the LoC. There had been recent clashes between the Army and militants along the LoC as militants were attempting to sneak into Kashmir valley to escalate the level of violence. Pak troops resort to ceasefire violations to bring the Kashmir issue to the limelight and seek mediation from any super powers for resolving the issue. Already besides the US and other European nations have treated the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A as an internal matter of India and all these nations want India and Pakistan to start bilateral talks for resolving the issues that bedevil their relations. Above all the US has stated that it was not prepared to mediate on issues that spoil the relations between India and Pakistan. The US President Donald Trump is opposed to Pakistan's threat of using nuclear weapons against India and instead has supported reopening of channels of dialogue since main issues that bedevil relations are bilateral. problems. These countries could provoke situation that may destabilise peace in Afghanistan.
