Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 07: Three days Service Providers' Training on Quality Assurance was organized by National Health Mission, J&K in collaboration with National Health System Resource Centre (NHSRC), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi at Regional Institute of Health & family Welfare, Nagrota, Jammu w.e.f 5th to 7th November, 2019 The training was inaugurated by IAS, Mission Director, NHM, J&K, Bhupinder Kumar in presence of Assistant Director (Schemes), Directorate of Health Services, Jammu , Dr. Sunil Sharma and Divisional Nodal Officer, Jammu, Dr. Harjeet Rai. In his address he thanked NHSRC, New Delhi for their support in organizing such trainings in the State. He said that the training shall build capacity of service providers of the District Hospitals, Community Health Centres and Primary Health Centres to implement Quality Standards and attaining Quality Certification under NQAS which would lead to great patient satisfaction. He urged the Officers/officials of Health Department to follow the Standard Operating Procedures/ Protocols and processes in letter and spirit for providing Quality Health Care at public health facilities. It is pertinent to mention that Health Department while laying great emphasis on the aspect of Quality in the institutions has initiated Quality Certification under NQAS and so far DH Udhampur and Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu have been certified at the National level. Similarly DH Baramulla, DH Leh, CHC Khalsti and PHC Chuschot are State Certified and are waiting for the National assessment from teams of Govt of India. Further 12 facilities including DH,CHC,PHC &UPHC are planned for Certification by March 2020. The training program was attended by Medical Superintendents, Dy. Medical Superintendants, Consultants of various Specialities, Medical Officers, Staff Nurses of District Hospital, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi and Kathua. |
