Jammu, Nov 7: A woman allegedly committed suicide in her house in Chowala area under the jurisdiction of R S Pura Police Station.
According to sources Rajni Kumar wife of Suresh Kumar resident of Chowala village of RS Pura allegedly committed suicide last at her home. "Police taken by the body into custody and following autopsy at GMCH the body has been handed over to family members", sources said, adding that however, the parents of the deceased woman alleged that she committed suicide due to dowry harassment by her-in-laws.
"Meanwhile police has registered a case and started investigation under 174 IPC", they added. |
