Jammu, Nov 7: Deputy Mayor, Adv. Purnima Sharma today distributed school uniforms among the Students of Govt. Girls High School, Warehouse, Jammu in ward no. 19, which was received annually under the Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan by the centre government. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is Government of India's flagship programme for achievement of Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in a time bound manner, as mandated by 86th amendment to the Constitution of India making free and compulsory Education to the Children of 6-14 years age group. Corporator of ward no. 19, Amit Gupta was also present during the distribution of uniforms and he distributed eatables among the students. |
