| Women Club Meri Pehchan organizes 'Maharaja Hari Singh Samman' | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 12: A prestigious event 'Maharaja Hari Singh Samman' dedicated to the defence and paramilitary personnel was organized by the NGO, Women Club Meri Pehchan here today at Royal Retreat.
The event was witnessed by the national heroes and the eminent personalities from other states.
Major General Sharad Kapur was the chief guest on the occasion wherein Lifetime Achievement awards were conferred upon Maj Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, Capt Bana Singh (PVC) and Capt N K Mahajan.
A panel of 25 personalities was also felicitated from the various fields who are selflessly contributing towards the community and nation.
5 Specially abled security personnel including Nayak Deepchand, Lance Naik Pritam Singh, Hon Capt Narayan Singh, Constable Pawan Saini, Havaldar Mohan Singh were also conferred with Maharajah Hari Singh Samman.
On the occasion, parents of 4 shoorvirs, who attained martyrdom were also felicitated including parents of Capt Tushar Mahajan, parents of Major Arvind Bajalla and parents of DySP Aman Thakur while Vir Nariyan (widows of the martyrs) were also felicitated by the dignitaries. |
