Jammu, Nov 13: The eight days first aid-training programme organized by Red Cross Society Jammu today concluded. Training was imparted for the trainees from different fields which included Doctors, Students as well as Red Cross Volunteers with effect from 4th Nov to 13th Nov, 2019. The highlights of the training revolved around First Aid Kit, Traumas/ Accidents, Transportation of Injured patient, Management of massive bleeding, fracture, Shock, Heart attack, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Snake biting. Dr. Shelly Mahajan, MD Anaesthesia, Medical Officer, IRCS demonstrated keeping in mind how to handle fainting and unconscious patient. Practical of CPR/ Choking was done with active participation of all the participants. Emergency technique of handling bleeding patient, Fracture/accident victims was also emphasised. She was assisted by Smt. Kanchan Devi Sup. Pharmacist and Vironica Marwah, Field Officer, Red Cross Jammu. |
