| 2 arrested with poppy straw | | |

Jammu, Nov 14: Border Police Post (BPP) Dewangarh of Sub Division R S Pura arrested two persons with poppy straw.
According to sources, a team from BBP Dewangarh led by ASI Sewa Ram while on patrolling in the area of responsibility apprehended two suspicious persons at village Dewangarh.
"The arrested persons have identified as Jarnail Singh and Som Raj. On search, 5.5 kg of poppy straw like substance were recovered from their possession", they said, adding that based on this, FIR No 212/19 u/s 8/15/29 NDPS was registered at PS RS PURA and investigation initiated. |
