Dy Mayor holds meeting of "Housing for All" | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 23: Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, JMC held the "Housing for All" & "Skill Upgradation & Self Employment" standing committee(s) meetings in the conference hall of JMC. Councilors Suneet Kumar, Surinder Sharma, Jagdish Kumar, Sharda Kumari, Narotam Sharma were present in the "Housing for All" standing committee meeting along with the officers of JMC and CEO, JUDA. Adv. Purnima Sharma, Chairperson of the standing committee of "Housing for All' raised the issues like: - proposal to State Level Monitoring Committee by Housing Board to increase State share in "Housing for All" scheme from Rs. 16,666 to Rs. 1 Lakh. The representatives from the Housing Board should visit each ward on fixed date and time. JMC should spare some of the amount from 14th Finance Commission for emergency relief to the needy persons. During the meeting members of the standing committee also raised issues such as Sharda Kumari raised the issue that there are 104 cases of HFA in her ward but most of the cases are done by the agent of Housing Board. Surinder Sharma raised the issue that Notices should be given to those persons who construct the extra floors against their approved plan without taking permission from the competent authority. Jagdish Kumar raised the issue that list of beneficiaries under HFA scheme is not provided by JUDA/Housing Board. |
