J&K needs tourism policy: Priya Sethi | | | Agencies New Delhi, Nov 29: While speaking at Kashmironomics Former Minister, Spokesperson BJP J&K Priya Sethi said that J&K needs a tourism policy which is now possible as Modi Govt has abolished article 370 in J&K. She said that now the newly created Union Territories are free from dynastic politics, so the territories Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh can flourish now as best Union territories of India. Priya Sethi was the lone former minister from the J&K Who spoke in Kashmironomics' First On-Ground Event Draws Policy Roadmap for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh's Economic Development concluded at The Lalit, New Delhi. This was a first in a series of events to help kick-start economic development for Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh. Former Tourism Minister Priya Said that tourism should be one of the principle engine of Economic development in the UT by positioning it as a leading global destination, contribute to economic and social well-being of the people of Jammu & Kashmir by providing employment opportunities, inclusive development and promotional policies with an aim to achieve internationally competitive tourism sector focused on sustainable growth" She urges the people present there for the PP mode concept so that people will investment in the UTs which will increase the economy of both the territories. |
