| 45 yrs old man held for raping minor at Mendhar | | |
Jammu, Nov 29: A shameful incident came into light when a 45 years old man resident of Gohlad arrested by the police for raping a 12 years old girl who is pregnant for four months.
As per police sources, the incident came to light when the victim's family members took her to the doctor after complaining about pain in the abdomen. The family members shocked when they heard that her minor daughter is 4 months pregnant. They immediately rushed to a nearby police station after completing medical treatment for registration of a case.
On the written complaint of family members of the victim, Police Station Mendhar registered a case FIR no 170 under section 6 POCSO Act 376 IPC and arrested the accused. The accused has been identified as Akbar Hussian son of Kaka resident of Gohlad, Mendhar tehsil district of Poonch. Police conducted a medical examination of the victim and investigation has started in this regard. |
