Reddy sounds alarm | | | Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy recently informed Rajya Sabha that inputs indicate that Pakistan has reactivated the Balakot terror camp which was bombed by Indian Air Force (IAF) jets in February this year. "Inputs indicate that attempts are being made by Pakistan based terror outfits to reactivate their religious and jehadi indoctrination courses against India," said Reddy. The IAF jets had carried out the air strikes at Balakot terror camp deep inside the Pakistan territory to avenge the martyrdom of 40 CRPF jawans, who were killed in a suicide attack planned and carried out by the Pakistan based terror outfit JeM in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. Soon after the air strikes had carried out Pakistan government sealed all the routes leading to the camp and did not allow anyone to visit there. Pakistan claims that no one was killed in the attack, however, the reports revealed that terrorists present inside the camp had suffered huge damage. Since the day IAF jets have carried out the air strikes, the terror camp at Balakot has not witnessed any activity but Reddy's revelations in Rajya Sabha is an indication that Pakistan has not learnt any lessons and continues to hatch conspiracies against India. The NDA 2.0 led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has maintained that terrorists and their masters will be dealt with an iron fist. The MoS Home has sounded the alarm and he has informed the country about the lurking threat from the other side, now its upto the Government of India (GoI) to take a call. When the GoI reorganized Jammu & Kashmir on August 5 this year, the top leaders of the ruling party hinted that the next step would be to liberate Pakistan occupied Kashmir, which has been the base camp of the terror outfits for the past 30 years. Hundreds of terrorists were trained in these camps during the past 30 years and were sent across the Line of Control to bleed India. These terrorists enjoy the full backing of Pakistan Army and its spy agency ISI. The terrorists who crossed into J&K were neutralized by the security forces in the encounters, which J&K has been witnessing since 1990. The terrorists have not allowed people to live in peace. One needs to acknowledge that India's policy towards terror has changed drastically since 2014. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has remained firm on his stand about zero tolerance towards terrorism and separatism. Reports about Balakot terror camp being reactivated is yet another challenge for PM Modi and he needs to do something about it. |
