JAMMU, Nov 29: Banyan International School, Jammu celebrated Grandparents Day with great pomp and show. On the occasion, toddlers in their own special way, thanked the grandparents for their love and support.
The special day was filled with dance and song performances by the kids. The song 'Dadaji Ki Chadi' was a hit amongst both the elderly and the tiny tots. The event saw pro-active participation of all grandparents in various games and activities.
Banyan International School believes it is important to sensitize kids about the role of grandparents in one's life and teach them about respecting and taking care of them in their old age. There is a need to lay emphasis on the emotional bonding of children with their family members and hence this special day was organized to strengthen the unique bond between kids and their grandparents.
