Samba, Dec 2: Police claimed to have arrested a truck driver at naka Balole Bridge, Bari Brahmana and recovered a country made pistol from his possession.
While performing vehicle checking duty at naka Balole Bridge, Bari Brahmana, police intercepted a truck bearing Regd. No. HP72A-0206 which was moving toward Srinagar.
During frisking of the said truck driver, a country made pistol was recovered from his possession. The accused truck driver identified as Parveen Singh son of Gandharv Singh R/O Daber Kotha, Nowshera, Rajouri has been arrested on the spot and weapon was also seized. |
