Jammu, Dec 2: Students of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by excelling in 34th J&K State Badminton Tournament organized by J&K Badminton Association held at M.A Stadium and Police Stadium Badminton Hall from 27-30 November, 2019. The details are as under Krishika Mahajan (VIII-F), U-15 Singles - Runner Up, U-15 Doubles - Winner, U-17 Singles - Runner Up, U-17 Doubles - Winner, U-17 Mixed Doubles - Runner Up, Senior Mixed Doubles - Runner Up, Shambhavi Rajput (VI-K), U-13 Singles - Winner, U-13 Doubles - Winner, U-17 Doubles - Winner, U-15 Doubles - Winner. Further, both the students are also qualified for the State level Badminton Tournament to be held later.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated both the winners and their coach, Preeti Gupta for the achievement. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also applauded them. President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents. |
