KPs ignored by administration, find no mention under B2V, allege community leaders | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 2: Administration of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (UT) has failed to cover the Kashmiri Pandit Migrants under Back to Village-II alleged KPs during a meeting held at Jagti camp near here today. While addressing community members during a meeting social activist Sunil Pandita said that migrant Kashmiri Pandits living in various camps in Jammu should have been also covered under flagship programme Back to Village-II like other villages in Jammu division to redress their pathetic woes they have been facing over the years , adding the community has been going through various problems but giving a miss to them at this point of time was an act of neglect on the part of Government, he added. He questioned men at helms in Government that no reasons were cited for no participation of KPs in this programme while this programme was supposed to mitigate the issues of all communities in the union territory of J&K, Sunil maintained. |
