Private Paramedical,Nursing Colleges meeting held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 2: A meeting of the Private Paramedical and Nursing colleges of both provinces ie Jammu and Kashmir was held at Jammu to discuss various issues and applicability of news rules and regulations after abrogation of article 370. During the discussion some of the important issues such as phasing out of GNM course from 2020-21 session, eligibility criteria and implementation of Indian Nursing Council norms in too, conduct of examination and enrolment of the students admitted in current session, centralised admissions by BOPEE, license to Medical assistant pass outs, functioning of local nursing council as per INC act, hospital training in private hospitals etc were main points. Further the member colleges decided that a delegation of the colleges will shortly meet the Departmental head as well as the LG to apprise them about the difficulties being faced by the private Paramedical and Nursing colleges.
