| ABVP organizes "My Hand with Disha campaign" | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu University unit today organized "My hand with Disha campaign" in JU campus.
The campaign was organized in demand of death sentence for the rapist and strict laws to deal with such cases.
More than 200 students coloured their hands and made a mark of their support on the wall for demanding justice for Dr. Priyanka Reddy who was brutally raped and murdered in Telengana few days back.
Ajay Thakur and other activists claimed that in Jammu university, they had also witnessed an incident of harassment in Geology department yesterday, which was highly condemnable and the guilty must be punished after the enquiry committee findings. |
