Ousted PDP leader hosts multiple celebrations in Dubai! | 'Lavish parties hosted at costliest hotels' | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 5: The senior politician who was ousted from the Peoples Democratic Party has recently hosted multiple celebration parties in Dubai. Sources said the leader, who camped in the United Arab Emirates for a month, was there with some of his "family members and friends for celebrations". Sources said the politician hosted lavish parties, mainly at 5-star hotels in Dubai. "Separate party was hosted for separate kind of guests. Relatives invited on separate day at separate venue, friends invited on a separate day at a different venue, business contacts invited on a separate day at a separate venue and political contacts including those from other countries were invited separately at some of the costliest venues," said a source privy to the details of the partying. Sources said the politician was trying to cash the opportunity to host some of his "old contacts from a neighboring country as well only to strengthen his political position in Kashmir." It is pertinent to mention that a few months ago, his brother was reportedly summoned by the National Investigation Agency in the national capital A few months ago, the same politician was working against the interests of the ruling Bharatiya Janta Party by trying his best to become the Chief Minister of the prospective alliance between the National Conference and the Peoples Democratic Party, a dream that never realized as the Assembly was dissolved before that. Despite numerous allegations against the him, he is among the very few Kashmir politicians who were not arrested after the abrogation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5. The said politician was expelled from the PDP following complaints of his being involved in anti parties activities where he wanted to hatch a coup. Despite repeated attempts the said leader was not available for comments. |
