| Director Handloom visits BLC Mahanpur | | |

JAMMU, Dec 6: Director Handloom J&K Babila Rakwal visited Block Level Cluster, Mahanpur which is being implemented at a cost of Rs 210.87 lakh with 100% funding from Government of India under National Handloom Development Programme (NHDP). She was accompanied by Assistant Director Handloom Kathua, Haroon Naik besides other senior officers of the department. Director interacted with the handloom weavers and directed the implementing agency of BLC to ensure implementation of the project within the stipulated time. Under this project, besides construction of a Common Facility Centre, skill development of the weavers, technology upgradation etc shall be taken up. |
