| Poppy straw recovered from truck in Reasi, driver escapes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 12: Police on Thursday recovered poppy straw from a vehicle in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
However, the driver managed to escape from the spot but identified later.
Police spokesman said that a Police Party of Police Post Talwara during patrolling duty at Talli Morh, intercepted a truck near Check Post Kans Khasan which was on its way towards Reasi.
On seeing the Police Party the driver ran away from the spot leaving behind the Truck but identified later as Mohd Yonus alias Puttu of Kans Khansan Tehsil, District Reasi.
A case been registered and investigation started.
The spokesman added that manhunt launched to apprehend the driver. |
