Doda, Dec 12: District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today led the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao cycle rally along with ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma which commenced from old bus stand Doda city via Tondwah to Ganpat bridge, covering a distance of 6 km.
The rally was flagged off by SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed along with ACR Doda with an aim to create awareness among the people to save and educate the girl child, besides to promote fit India and fit Doda movement across the district especially among the youth.
Addressing the gathering, the DDC said in view to spread and promote the message of this national initiative in each and every corner of the district especially among the youth, this cycle rally has been organised under which girls and boys of different age groups has participated.
Along with others, senior Officers of the district and police administration were present on the occasion. |
