Srinagar, Dec 12: A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist surrendered before police in Awantipora area of Pulwama district of the valley today.
He surrendered before a senior police officer in Awantipora area of the district, official sources said. According to sources, he had joined the LeT terror group on November 24 this year but decided to return to the mainstream, following appeals by his family.
Some more misguided youth of the valley were being approached by their families to shun violence and join the national mainstream to lead a peaceful life. |
