Indian Taekwondo Teamoutshines in 13th SAG, Nepal | Wins 9 Gold, 10 Silver and 8 Bronze | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 14: S.M Bali lead Indian National Taekwondo Team as General Manager in 13th South Asian Games held at Kathmandu, Nepal from 1st to 10th December. The Taekwondo event was held from 2nd to 5th December, 2019 in which India Won 9 Gold, 10 Silver and 8 Bronze medal. This is first time that Team India had shown such a marvellous performance at South Asian Games. The selection of Indian Team was held under the supervision of World Taekwondo delegate Milan Kwee from Singapore who was the Technical Chairman of the Selection Committee. Besides Namdev Sheronkar Chairman Adhoc Committee Indian Taekowndo and S.M Bali Member Adhoc Committee along with Digvijay Singh. All the players appreciated the efforts of S.M Bali General Manager for his dedication and hard work during the whole event which highly boosted the moral of players To give such a splendid performance. J&K Taekwondo Association President DN Pangotra Congratulated Bali for this outstanding performance in SAG for boosting the players and making J&K Proud. S M Bali appealed to Lt. governor of J&K to promote Taekwondo in J&K and provide them Proper Training Hall along with facilities and he believe that state adminstration definately honour and felicitate Participants from J&K, in South Asian Games for motivation and encouragement Of the players and future players. |
